Cookies

Cookies is an unharmful text file that is stored on your computer's hard-drive. For example: if you login, it is saved into that file. According to the Swedish "law of electronic information", which took effect on the 25th of July 2003, everyone that is visiting a website that uses cookies shall be informed that cookies is used, what it is used for, and how to turn cookies off.

Spellic.com uses cookies. They is used for keeping track of which users that are logged in or not. It is also used to remember settings and which exercise that is currently used (even though you are not logged in). Additionally, cookies are used by third parties to show ads and to collect statistics.

How do I turn off cookies?

If you use FireFox you click on Tools -> Settings. After that on Privacy, and then Cookies. Here you can choose if you want to enable or disable cookies.
If you use Internet Explorer you click on Tools -> Internet options, and then on the Privacy-tab. Here you can choose if you want to enable or disable cookies.
