  • to spread To arrange something so that it covers a large area. To affect a larger number of people
  • to earn To get something by working. To get something that you deserve because of your work, qualities, etc

  • to shed To get rid of something you do not need or want. To lose a covering, such as leaves, hair, or skin, because it falls off naturally, or to drop something in a natural way or by accident
