  • Part 1 - What had happened recently in Charlie's life that makes him depressed and sad in the beginning of the book? His friend Michael had just died
  • Part 1 - Why did Charlie's father slap him? He asked Aunt Helen too many personal questions about her life.
  • Part 1 - What does Charlie tell us about the kid named Sean? That Sean was a bully who threatened him to make a 'swirl' in the toilet, meaning flush his head in the toilet. Charlie had learned fighting from his brother. When Sean went onto him, he beat him up. Sean started it and it was self-defence.

  • Part 3 - Why does Brad not want anyone to know about him and Patrick making out together? (p.39-40) He is scared.
